Hi I’m Gemma!
I’m a laid-back London wedding photographer, hopelessly in love with city elopements, destination weddings and warm evening sunlight. My background is photojournalism and documentary photography, which massively shapes the way I approach your wedding photography. I’m all about documenting the raw, honest moments of your wedding day, through a hybrid of digital and analogue photography (35mm and medium format film). I believe in making images that capture the essence of your wedding, reflect who you are as a couple and transport you back to the day every time you look at them.
I’m here for raw stuff, the real moments that make your day unique. I want you to look at your photos and remember how much your sides ached from laughing, that you flung your shoes off so you could dance a little harder and the happy tears you just couldn’t hold back.

Yes, it’s just me and my camera unless you request to book a second shooter. Working alone and with minimal kit helps everyone to feel relaxed and allows me to capture natural, candid photographs. In some cases, like larger weddings or multi-day weddings I will suggest a second shooter. I have a few amazing assistant photographers that I love to work with.

Yes! I love to travel, nowhere is too far. Both my UK wedding photography packages and destination wedding photography packages include my travel and accommodation expenses.

I think printing your photographs is so important. There’s nothing like being able to pass around a beautifully curated wedding album. I work with some amazing printers and bookmakers to provide art quality prints and albums. I encourage all my couples to book in a call to discuss printing options.

I offer both digital and film photography. For film photography I shoot a mixture of 35mm and 120mm colour and black & white film stocks. There’s a certain romantic, nostalgic feel to film that holds a place in my heart. I usually say to my couples, that you just know if you want your photographs on film.
But as much as I love shooting film, I love the flexibility and the quality from shooting digital too! That’s why I leave it up to you. And if you love both digital and film photography too, that’s great! Let’s shoot both! Any number of rolls of film can be added to a digital package.

My main aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible so you can concentrate on enjoying the best day of your lives whilst knowing I’m getting all the great photos you’ll treasure forever. My documentary approach means I won’t pose you and I won’t hijack important moments to direct you or your guests.
